A little treat of greasiness and above all the best way of the ideal way to stock up on fruits and vitamins without even realizing it, but enjoying it! Of course, you must have a blender in good shape for blending! Though, if you don’t have one you can use an immersion hand blender, which should also do the job.
To start the day with a good dose of energy, or as a comforting food after hours of tiresome activities, nothing’s better than a yummy vitamin rich and deliciously tart smoothie. The ease and speed of preparation of this recipe, especially if you use frozen fruits, will perhaps make you as addicted as I do!

And yet again it’s so good!
What are the health benefits of a banana berry smoothie?
The benefits a berry banana smoothie can bring will definitely depend on the types of berries you use. I most commonly use bananas and blueberries so will outline those benefits below.
But – raspberries, blackberries, or strawberries are also great options that will bring other unique benefits.
Blueberry
Blueberry is the champion in terms of vitamins C content. It is incredibly rich in antioxidants which makes it a significant ally in the fight against certain cancers.
So, the consumption of blueberries in the form of juice would help limit certain cancer cells. This includes those of the breast, prostate, intestine or stomach. Cranberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries are all foods to combat this type of disease as well.
In addition, the consumption of blueberries would help to limit the risks of cardiovascular disease (because they are rich in flavonoids), and would protect the body from the onset of diabetes.
Banana
Banana unfortunately does not have a very good reputation when it comes to talking about any “diet”. Yet, the antioxidant profile of a banana is very powerful. Using just one for your breakfast can help minimize your need for that morning snacking! I usually have a banana every day with my coffee and it can often hold me over until an early lunch.
Bronchitis
Bronchitis sucks. A common virus, it will leave you coughing and filling your body with tons of mucus. In most cases, there are no medications to take and you will have to wait it out for it to pass.
The trick to get through it is to rest and fill your body with nourishing foods to help you heal. During my bouts with bronchitis, I do enjoy my keto electrolyte drink which helps keep me hydrated. I try to up my intake to once a day when I am sick.
You can also try our lemon garlic ginger or green juice drinks to get you through your illness.
