What Is The 21 Day Smoothie Diet?

It is a simple and safe way to get your body healthier while losing weight and gaining energy.

While the program was written to promote a 21-day weight loss plan, the diet can be continued for as long as you would like to use it.

The diet was created by Drew Sgoutas CHC, AADP a certified health coach. He is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners too which I think is a huge selling point. In a world of drugs to fix everything, it is nice to see professionals who take the “eat right” stay healthy angle to weight loss and health improvement.

He worked with clients looking to lose weight for over 10 years before creating this plan, so a lot of work and experience went into it.

Does It Really Work?

I have not personally used the smoothie diet plan, but I am a big fan of smoothies and have seen a difference by simply adding a Cucumber Lemon smoothie to my diet a few times a week.

Transitioning To The Smoothie Diet

Before you start ANY diet you should check with your primary physician to make sure it is safe.

When you start changing your diet and adding in many fruits and vegetables you may find some side effects happening, so it is better to address those before you get started.

For example, increasing the amount of Vitamin K in your diet may actually affect you if you are on blood thinners and those with kidney disease may want to understand the affects of potassium on their bodies.

You may also want to start the diet when you can be home – as many have reported an increase in bowel movements as the plan starts to do what it is supposed to – cleanse your body!
